Read off and let me know what you think/feel :)

#55wordstory - Death

Today's theme was 'Death.'
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

A dark, hooded figure stood staring at me as his scythe glistened in the moonlight.

“Is it time?”

“Yes, but not your soul.”

“Then?”

“Your desires and expectations.”

“From?”

“Society. Loved ones. Yourself.”

“Why?”

“You’ve been a good boy. You need to be set free.”

I wake up the happiest person on earth.

The desire to desire the death of desire is also a desire, don't you think? No matter how hard we try, desires never leave our side. We are simple not equipped to get rid of them.

Ahhhhh nicely put the first line :) As i said earlier, cutting desire off completely is impossible as it exists inherently in us as human beings but having a control over it is very much possibe..
